Göransson favourite for Norwegian round

Richard Göransson is the main favourite for the STCC race in Norway this weekend. The double STCC champion has won all races that STCC has run on this track and his team mate Janne “Flash” Nilsson is putting the pressure on him.
“Göransson will win here. He has almost no penalty weight and I can’t see anyone denying him the win,” said Flash.

Göransson is hopeful and enjoys the Norwegian track.
“All races should be run in Norway. I am hopeful for the coming race, I need the points,” said Göransson.

The only Norwegian of the STCC, Tommy Rustad, also thinks that Göransson is the strongest candidate for the win.
“He has proven that he likes and masters the track, so he is for sure the favorite,” said Rustad who in his turn hopes for a top five finish.

“We managed to take sixth position during last race, something we want to better for this race,” the Opel-man said.
