Frank Stippler tops Våler test
Frank Stippler topped the morning test at Våler in Norway. The Audi-man lapped the track in 56.707 and is looking forward to the qualifying.
“The car felt good and we are positive for the qualifying,” said Stippler. Richard Göransson was second fastest ahead of a surprise – Tobias Johansson of the privateer Mercedes team.
“We have found a really good setup and the car suits this track. I hope we can keep this until the qualifying, this is really fun,” said a very happy Johansson.
Reigning champion Thed Björk was fourth with Peugeot’s Johan Stureson rounding out top five.
A lot of cars were off track during the practice session causing the red flags to come out. Kristoffersson was one of them, going off in the end, damaging the front of his car.
Qualifying starts at 12.30 CET.
