Rudholm fastest at Gelleråsen test

Robin Rudholm started the STCC weekend at Gelleråsen with being fastest. He was fastest with a good margin ahead of Tommy Rustad in second and Tomas Engström in third
“The season has given a lot of ups and downs. The car is really good now and it is looking promising for the race,” said Rudholm

The Flash Engineering cars took fourth and fifth with Janne “Flash” Nilsson and Richard Göransson. The session was brought to a halt with ten minutes left after the reigning champion Thed Björk’s Audi A4 caught fire.

“We had some problems with the engine that was leaking fuel. But then it seemed ok and I went out again, only to start leaking fuel a couple of corners later and then the fire started. I hope we can get it fixed before the qualifying,” said Björk.

The qualifying session starts at 12.30 CET.
