Stureson aiming high for Knutstorp

Johan Stureson of the Swedish Touring Car Championship Peugeot team is looking to end his season on a high note. There are still three races to go and Stureson is ready for his home track.

“I am aiming for a podium. That is the tactics we have to aim for now, to get as good single positions as possible. It is no point fighting for the championship anymore,” said Stureson.

It has been a though season so far for the Peugeot team with engine failiures, start crashes, electrical failiures, etc.
“What can I say, it has been a terrible season so far. I have never seen anything like it before,” said Stureson.

Knutstorp is one of two races in south of Sweden, with Sturup following after this race.
“Knutstorp is the track that I like most of all in STCC. And last time at Sturup things went fine with a third place. It would be nice to repeat that for the last couple of races,” Stureson said.
