Jan “Flash” Nilsson takes Mantorp pole

Janne “Flash” Nilsson took command during the final qualifying session of the Swedish Touring Car Championship 2007. The double STCC-champion took pole ahead of Robert Dahlgren and Fredrik Ekblom.
“I pushed really hard and this is excellent! The team has done a great job and I am really looking forward to the race,” said “Flash”.

Robert Dahlgren in second was pleased with his time.
“It was a good lap but not enough for pole. But I am confident for the race and I think it will be a spectacular race,” said Dahlgren.

Third was newly crowned champion Fredrik Ekblom in his West Coast Racing prepared BMW 320si.
“It was a good lap and I am pleased with it. I think we have a good position for the fight for the team title,” said Ekblom.

West Coast Racing are fighting with Flash Engineering for the STCC 2007 team title. Only one point separates the two teams with West Coast Racing being ahead.
