Polestar Volvo testing C30 at Gelleråsen

The Volvo team Polestar Racing has started testing of the new Volvo C30 yesterday. 70 laps were completed at the Gelleråsen track with Robert Dahlgren behind the wheel. The plan for the team is to complete six test sessions in october with the prototype. The sharp version of the S2000 C30 will be build in february.

“The tests have gone surprisingly well. We thought there were going to be a lot of problems, but we have been able to complete 70 laps without any major problems,” said team boss Christian Dahl.

These first couple of tests are mainly to see that everything works. The car run today for instance had no aero kit.
“We just want to keep doing laps and gather information. The last three tests are going to be dedicated to optimize the car. In total we will drive around 15 test days. Our next test will take place shortly at a Swedish race track, I can’t say any more than that,” Dahl said.
