Turkington to remain in the BTCC 2008

Newly crowned Independets Champion Colin Turkington will most likely remain in the British Touring Car Championship next year with the RAC team. Turkington proved to be quick in the, for the team, new BMW 320si this year and feels that the overall title could be up for grabs for him next year.

“It is a testament to the team that we managed to get to grips with the car so quickly and with a year’s experience behind us, then we can only go forward from here. When we raced the MG you could see how important the consistency was. When we add that to our package next season, then we will take another step,” said Turkington to Motorsport News.
