IPS Motorsport plans new Peugeot

The Swedish Peugeot-team IPS Motorsport wants to replace its three-year old Peugeot 407 with a Peugeot 308. Driver and teamowner Johan Sturesson confirms that their 407 is for sale and that they are looking at building a new car for STCC based on the Peugeot 308.

“We have contacted Peugeot Sport in France and Alternative Engineering in Danmark and are looking at building a new car,” Johan Sturesson confirms to STCC.se.

The team is seeking a cooperation with the Danish team Alternative Engineering who runs Peugeot 407 in DTC, where they have four cars of which three were built last year.

For next season Volvo has already confirmed they will enter two brand new Volvo C30 to replace the old S60. KMS who runs three Audis wants to build new cars based on the new Audi A4 but need support from Audi Sport in Germany, who are planning new DTM-cars for next season.
