Thed Björk to Volvo next season?

2006 Swedish Touring Car Championship champion Thed Björk is reported to be on the way out from the Audi team. According to our information Björk could be headed for the second Volvo-seat along side Robert Dahlgren. The relations between Björk and the Audi team Kristoffersson Motorsport are reported to have become bad after this season.

The Volvo team on the other hand is on the search for a new driver. According to the Volvo team, Polestar Racing, their budget has increased a fair bit for the coming season meaning that they could do without a pay-driver. Alexander Storckenfeldt who has driven for the Volvo team during the last couple of years is reported to have brought in money to the team.

But Björk is not alone in the run for the second Volvo-seat. Daniel Haglöf, Alexander Stockenfeldt (still) and a couple of other names are negotiating with the team. Stay tuned for more news on the subject!
