Troberg to run Honda with Colciago?

The rumors around Honda next season are running hot. Tomas Engström has run the Honda-team for many years in the STCC. But it seems like he has got strong competition from Picko Troberg for the contract next year. We reported about this rumor earlier, but the indications has grown stronger and more specific.

The latest information is that Honda Sweden wants Troberg to run two cars, with Italian Roberto Colciago as one driver and Tomas Engström as the other. But it is rather unlikely that Engström will run under Troberg’s team, and without Honda backing Engström has to turn somewhere else.

We reported earlier this week that Engström still is working hard to keep the Honda-deal and extend to a two-car team without Troberg.
“We have nothing done for next year but we have several options to consider and I think it’s looking positive,” said Engström.
