WestCoast Racing to sell their BMW’s

WestCoast Racing is looking to buy new BMW’s for the coming Swedish Touring Car Championship season. The team has currently got three cars, the one Fredrik Ekblom drove this season, the one Robin Rudholm drove and one spare car.
“The plan is to see if we can sell the cars and then buy new for next season,” said team boss Dick Jönsson Wigroth to STCC.se.

The driver line up for next season is expected to remain the same. According to our information Ekblom has already signed for another season and Rudholm’s contract is not far from being completed.
“Nothing is done until it is on paper. Our goal is to have the program for next year ready in two weeks. It is no bold guess that things will look quite much the same as this year,” said Jönsson Wigroth.

The team is planning to run the same setup with the cars next year, meaning two cars for race and one spare car. Sweden now has got many S2000 BMW 320si for sale as rival team Flash Engineering also have their remaining car, that Richard Göransson drove, for sale.
“It could be two new cars for next year, but we can still keep the current ones, they have not done many kilometers,” said Jönsson Wigroth.
