JWRC champion PG Andersson could go STCC

The Rally Junior World Champion P-G Andersson could be on the way to the Swedish Touring Car Championship or one of its support classes. The aim is still there for rally, but racing could be an alternative.
“I will have to see if I can get money for a rally drive next year, otherwise I will go for racing,” said Andersson to STCC.se.

Earlier this year Andersson made several appearances in the STCC support class Camaro Cup. Here he proved that he can handle racing as well with five victories.
“It was really fun to drive Camaro. This was the first time for me on a track and really liked it,” said Andersson.

Another year in the JWRC is not an option for Andersson, instead he is hoping for a drive with the Suzuki factory team in the bigger class WRC.
“I will know if I can drive for them within a week. If we cannot work anything out I will seriously look at racing. STCC would be really cool to drive, but Carrera Cup as well. Right now I am going to wait and see,” said Andersson.
