Storckenfeldt optimistic about Volvo seat

Alexander Storckenfeldt is still confident for the second Volvo seat along side Robert Dahlgren next season. Rumors have recently indicated that Stockenfeldt has strong competition from, among others, Thed Björk, Jens Edman and Daniel Haglöf.
“I am not more worried than I have been previous years. My first option is to continue with Volvo. If that is not possible my goal is at least to continue in the STCC,” said Storckenfeldt to STCC.se.

Last year the deal with Volvo was not finished until February and Stockenfeldt has started the discussions with team boss Christian Dahl.
“I spoke to Dahl yesterday, but we have not discussed closely about the coming season. It is time for that now,” said Stockenfeldt.

If Storckenfeldt does not get a deal he make no secret that he woudl like to drive a rear wheel drive car (BMW).
“I am looking at other manufacturers as well, it is no secret that it would have been very nice to drive rear wheel drive,” said the Swede.
