Not such a jolly Christmas for BTCC fans

Fans of the BTCC are not having a jolly Christmas this year as stocks of the ever-popular season highlights DVD has been delayed.
The season review of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship has experienced a manufacturing fault as the first batch of discs has been labelled and packaged incorrectly. The DVD produced by Duke has had it’s release date put back again to January 14 2008.

Fans have been flooding the motorsport forums with messages of complaint. BTCC.net responded with a statement, “The entire UK DVD replication industry is experiencing 4-6 week delays at the moment due to the demise of one of Europe’s major replicators, ODS. The delay to several of our key titles is a knock-on effect of this I’m afraid.”

But this did not seem to prevent a manufacturing fault to hit the project!

Most suppliers of DVD to the public are now not issuing this disc until the revised date of January 14. So people hoping to get the DVD in their Christmas stocking will have to be content with watching re-runs on You Tube!
