WestCoast Racing will keep 2007 BMW’s

WestCoast Racing have decided to keep their two BMW 320si E90 2007. Previously the team have tried to sell the cars and buy 2008 specification BMW’s.
“It is more or less discontinued. It would take a lot for us to change the cars now. We are starting to get short on time so we are mainly focusing on things around the cars,” said team boss Dick Jönsson-Wigroth.

What type of engine WestCoast Racing will use is still not decided for the 2008 season. Just as Flash Engineering the team ran one car with bio-ethanol at the end of the 2007 season.

“That is also one thing that has made us decide not to change the cars. We don’t know yet what we will run with and it is mainly on the engine-side that the new (2008) car differs from the old. The chassis is more or less the same,” said Jönsson-Wigroth.
