One Audi A4 on the grid of 2008?

While Audi have pulled out from the Swedish Touring Car Championship, there is still a chance we could see an Audi A4 on the grid in April. According to our information Tommy Kristoffersson could be behind the wheel of the A4.
“We still have the cars and our ambition is still to run them this year. It is looking better and better, but some things take frustratingly long time to solve,” said Kristoffersson to STCC.se.

The car(s) would be run without official support from Audi. The majority of the sponsors of the team are still reported to be on board, securing the budget.

On the rumours indicating that Kristoffersson Motorsport would run one car in STCC and two cars in a support class is something driver and team owner Tommy does not want to comment.

“It is too soon to say anything about the coming season. We still have some questionmarks to take away, but things are going in the right direction. The 2008 season looks very exciting and of course we want to be there right in the thick of it,” said Kristoffersson.
