McConville continues with ‘WOW’ factor

Expect even more ‘WOW’ from Holden star Cameron McConville at this weekend’s V8 Supercar Series round at Sydney’s Eastern Creek.
Last month McConville’s new team, Brad Jones Racing signed an eleventh hour agreement with fast growing electronics retailer WOW Sight & Sound to be naming rights sponsor for 2008.

Just days later at the season opening Clipsal 500 Adelaide street race, McConville stormed from last on the grid to score WOW Sight & Sound’s first ever V8 Supercar podium finish.

Today, McConville and his team grabbed even more attention by unveiling a bright and stunning new look #14 WOW Sight & Sound Commodore, which will make its first on-track appearance tomorrow.

“It’s certainly got the ‘WOW’ factor; in fact it’s so colourful that I reckon it’s got more colours than a PPG paint chart!” McConville said.

“Due to the last minute sponsorship deal we ran a compromise livery in Adelaide, but there won’t be any problems distinguishing my car from (team-mate) Andrew Jones’ Team BOC Commodore now.”

WOW Sight & Sound Managing Director, Sam Savvas said he was happy to keep the surprises coming after McConville’s sensational Adelaide drive.

“We were thrilled with Cameron’s Clipsal 500 podium, so we decided to celebrate by giving V8 Supercar fans the same treatment as our store customers – a bright and colourful experience.

“When they see Cameron’s car, they’ll be saying ‘WOW’!”
