Video of Flash Engineering BMW shakedown
Flash Engineering have completed shakedown of both their BMW 320si. Earlier this week Richard Göransson made his shakedown and today Janne “Flash” Nilsson made the first kilometers in his brand new BMW 320si 2008 spec’ at the old airport in Karlstad.
“Wonderful! It is really a fantastic feeling to drive the first kilometers in a brand new racing car,” said “Flash”.
Responsible for the build of the new car is chief mechanic Lars Andersson who has been working non stop since january with the car.
“It is really nice to see the car in action! Everything worked perfect and it is going to be fun to continue working with the car for the coming season,” said Andersson.
Flash Engineering now heads to Germany for the first pre season test at Hockenheim. Both drivers will do three days of testing. “Flash” is eager to get out on track with the new car.
“Indeed I am! Though it is a big responsibility to drive the new car and I am very impressed with Andersson who has put together a new car from small plastic bags to something I can just select first gear with and drive away,” said “Flash”.
