Flash Engineering tests at Hockenheim
Flash Engineering completed three days of testing at Hockenheim in Germany as preparation for the coming Swedish Touring Car Championship premiere. Drivers Richard Göransson and Janne “Flash” Nilsson completed around 300 laps per car.
“We have had three really good days! Now Göransson and I are up to speed, which was the purpose with these days,” said “Flash”.
During the three days several different areas were tested. Race simulations, new settings and comparison tests were completed and Göransson was pleased.
“Twenty months ago Flash Engineering was last out to test their cars before the STCC premiere. For 2008 we have turned this around and we are first out to test, if feels very nice,” said Göransson.
The weather during the test remained dry and with temperatures above 10 degrees. Team manager Johan Kvick was pleased with the progress of the test.
“We have almost had no problems at all. All three drivers have driven according to the planned test schedule and we have got a lot of valuable data,” said Kvick.
The first official STCC-test takes place at Knutstorp in three weeks.
