First shakedown for WestCoast Racing

WestCoast Racing have completed their first shakedown of the year. Drivers Fredrik Ekblom and Robin Rudholm drove a couple of laps around the Falkenberg-track in south west of Sweden.
“At last the season is rolling again! It is nice for everyone in the team to get going again. We made sure everything is working and even had the time to practice some pitstops,” said teamboss Dick Jönsson-Wigroth.

Reigning champion Fredrik Ekblom was pleased with his run and is looking forward to the coming season.

“It was very nice to meet the whole team again and to drive the car again. Now we have the work ahead of us to test more, find more speed, develop our selves further and to fine tune details from last year,” said Ekblom.

Rudholm was also enthusiastic after the drive at Falkenberg.

“I had a big grin on my face when I went out on the track. Everything worked perfectly and I cannot wait until the first official test,” said Rudholm.

The first official test takes place at Knutstorp in less than three weeks.
