IPS Motorsport Peugeot close to completion

The Swedish Peugeot-team, IPS Motorsport, are closing in on the completion of the brand new Peugeot 308 for the Swedish Touring Car Championship.
“Things are as usual when it is getting close to premiere, but everything is going according to plan,” said driver Johan Stureson.

The car has arrived from Belgium where the roll bar was fitted and currently the car is in Denmark.

“They are working franticly on the car in Denmark but also on the preparations here in Knislinge at my race engineer Magnus Juhlin,” said Stureson.

The car will be transported to Sweden in a day or two for the paint job before being transported back to Denmark for the final assembly. The team is aiming to be at the first official STCC test at Sturup on April the 2nd.

“That is correct, we will adjust the final details in Sweden before the first test of the year,” said Stureson.
