Göransson tops Mantorp morning test

Richard Göransson topped the morning part of the test at Mantorp Park today. The Flash Engineering-driver lapped the circuit in 1:20.858 which was 0.066 seconds faster than Fredrik Ekblom in the WestCoast Racing-BMW.
“It has been very cold so far today but we are making good progress. Mantorp is my favorite track so I am really enjoying my self today,” said Göransson.

Robin Rudholm was third fastest ahead of Thed Björk in the Honda and Tommy Kristoffersson in the all-white Audi A4.

The session started wet but the track dried up as the sun started to come through the clouds. The temperatures are still quite low at around 4-6 degrees.

The test continues until 17.00 CET today and tomorrow the STCC-teams moves on to Gelleråsen. The Volvo-team is still nowhere to be seen, but could be present at Gelleråsen tomorrow.
