Continued BMW-dominance at Gelleråsen

The BMW-cars have got a firm grip of the Swedish Touring Car Championship pre season tests. Richard Göransson was fastest yesterday at Mantorp and is fastest today at Gelleråsen.
“I won here last year and I have a good feeling today. Just as every other testday this year it is very cold, but we are working hard,” said Göransson.

Göransson headed a BMW 1-2-3-4 with Fredrik Ekblom second, Robin Rudholm third and Jan Nilsson fourth. Tommy Kristoffersson was the best non-BMW driver in fifth, setting a time that was 0.259 seconds slower compared to Göransson’s.

Volvo made their official STCC-test debut with the two Volvo C30’s of Robert Dahlgren and Tommy Rustad. Dahlgren’s best time put him sixth in the time list while Rustad only did a shakedown lap.
