Flash Engineering signs John Gentry

Flash Engineering have signed legendary touring car engineer John Gentry. The Brit will be chief engineer for Jan “Flash” Nilsson’s BMW 320si.
“I have a good feeling about this and I am looking forward to work with Flash Engineering again! It will be some sort of a reunion as I have worked with many persons of the crew before,” said Gentry.

Gentry has a long experience within racing and has among other things worked in Formula One, developed the Super Touring Volvo 850 and S40.

Janne “Flash” Nilsson got to know Gentry during the Super Touring-times with Volvo and is pleased to be working with him again.

“I have tried many years to get him back to Flash Engineering and STCC. The opportunity was there now and I am looking forward to working with him. I have never worked with a better race engineer than him,” said “Flash”.

The STCC-season is only four days away and Gentry will head straight in to the action in Sweden on sunday!
