New paint scheme for Mattias Andersson

The Alfa Romeo 156 of Mattias Andersson will have a new paint scheme for the Swedish Touring Car Championship race at Gelleråsen this weekend. The car will be painted as the car in the movie “SPEED RACER”.
“The movie is about a hero and it tends to be happy endings, I hope the same goes for me in the race on sunday,” said Andersson to STCC.se.

The movie SPEED RACER is produced by the Wachowski brothers and goes live on June 5th. In Sweden the movie is promoted by Sandrew Metronome and marketing manager Pia Norström is thrilled about the STCC Alfa Romeo of Andersson being painted like the car in the movie.

“To make the connection to STCC is really great for the launch of SPEED RACER. We are right in the middle of the environment that big parts of the movie takes place in and we reach a large audience that like speed, excitement and drama,” said Norström.
