Richard Göransson heads penalty weight list
Previous race winner and championship leader Richard Göransson now heads the penalty weight list for the race at Falkenberg. His BMW 320si E90 must weigh at least 1205 kilos which is 15 kilos more than Thed Björk who has the second heaviest car with 1190 kilos. Göransson’s team mate Janne “Flash” Nilsson is third heaviest with 1185 kilos.
WestCoast Racing-driver Robin Rudholm and Fredrik Ekblom both have 1175 kilos, just as Carl Rosenblad has. Tomas Engström carries 1160 kilos, five more kilos than STCC-newcomer Mikael Englund in the very old BMW 320i E46.
For the race at Falkenberg the minimum weight for the Audi A4 has been lowered with 10 kilos. Alexander Lvov is the sole Audi-driver at Falkenberg and his car will weigh 1135 for this race.
Both Volvo-driver Robert Dahlgren and Tommy Rustad will have the lightest cars of the field with 1123 kilos – an amazing difference of 82 kilos compared to the heaviest car of the field.
