Stureson back with repaired Peugeot

Peugeot-man Johan Stureson crashed on the first lap of the Swedish Touring Car Championship race at Knutstorp. Stureson got squeezed between Fredrik Ekblom and Roger Eriksson which ended the race for him.
“Both sides of the front were damaged and I got a hit from behind as well. The rear left side of the car was the only side that was undamaged,” said Stureson to Kristianstadsbladet.se.

Despite the big damage on the car, Stureson will be back and ready for the coming race at Våler, Norway, this weekend.
“There are no problems to make this race. We have all spare parts on location,” said Stureson.

Stureson is hoping for good results at Våler, a track that according to Stureson suits the Peugeot.
“If we look back the Peugeot has gone very good at Våler and hopefully we can get a good result with us. We’ve had a good pace lately, unfortunately we could not show it at Knutstorp,” said Stureson.
