John George released from hospital

John George has been released from hospital after his huge accident during the final British Touring Car Championship final at Brands Hatch. A spokesman for TH Motorsport said to BTCC.net:
“No broken bones, just some heavy bruising, mainly around the left shoulder where the HANS device dug in a bit.”

The 46-year-old Brit headed back to Brands Hatch and was eager to get back behind the wheel again.

“John’s at Brands Hatch today to look at the scene of the accident but he hopes to be testing a car in October to get back into the swing of things.”
