Richard Göransson rejoins WestCoast Racing

Big things are happening in the Swedish Touring Car Championship. The reigning champion Richard Göransson today announced that he will rejoin his previous BMW-team WestCoast Racing and leave Flash Engineering.
“I want to become historical with four STCC titles and it will be exciting to do it with WestCoast Racing, the team that I started my STCC-career with,” said Göransson.

Göransson’s team mate will be Robin Rudholm and team boss Dick Jönsson-Wigroth is very happy over his new line up.

“I am very glad to welcome Göransson back in the team. With him and Rudholm we will take both titles next year,” said Wigroth.

Previous WestCoast Racing-driver and 2007 STCC-champion Fredrik Ekblom leaves the team. According to our sources he will remain in the championship next year, but behind the wheel of a front wheel driven car.
