Jordan looks forward to Vauxhall debut

Andrew Jordan is going to make his debut for the Vauxhall team in the British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch in little less than two weeks. A big challenge lies ahead of the young Brit who is starting to get really excited.
“I’m feeling more confident with the team and we’re working on building up data on the car, so now I’m really starting to become excited about the start of the season,” said Jordan.

Jordan was fifth during the official test at Rockingham last week and was only three thousandths behind his experienced team mate Matt Neal.

“I was only 3/1000ths away from Matt, so I’m not too far off, but it’s a bit frustrating knowing that you can be, and should be, a bit quicker,” said Jordan.

But the 19 year old Brit was not pleased with fifth and feels that there is more to find.

“We were P5, which isn’t too bad, but the car is not where I want it to be yet. The time I set doesn’t really reflect where I could have been. I think I could have been second or third,” said Jordan.

Jordan has just got one more test, at Brands Hatch, before the season premiere.

“I’m out in the car again next week for the official BTCC test at Brands Hatch and then it’s the start of the season,” said Jordan.
