Ohlsson aims for the Semcon Cup title

Mikael Ohlsson is going to take on the opposition in the Semcon Cup of the Swedish Touring Car Championship this year.
“This is the right step for me and my career. I think we have a good shot at the Semcon Cup title this year, but also top ten in the overall championship,” said Ohlsson to TouringCarTimes.

Ohlsson is going to drive a Peugeot 407, the one Johan Stureson drove in 2007.

“We looked at a number of other cars, but we feel that the Peugeot is the right choice for us,” said Ohlsson.

Ohlsson performed his first ever test in the car last week at Knutstorp in the south of Sweden.

“The test went really nice, the car feels strong! We have a very good team this year, with good mechanics and engineers. I am looking forward to the season start,” said Ohlsson.
