Rudholm wants revenge at Gelleråsen
Robin Rudholm started the Swedish Touring Car Championship premiere in the worst possible way. Zero points.
“I am urging for results after zero points despite having such a fast car in the premiere,” said Rudholm to the official championship site.
His first race ended in the gravel trap with a broken front suspension. His engine electronics failed on the first lap which meant that he fell down through the field and ultimately collided with Viktor Huggare.
He started to climb in the second race only to launch his car on the inside of Tomas Engström – another gravel trap visit.
“Everything felt so good before the premiere. We were fast on the tests and I had out qualified my team mate Richard Göransson for the first race.
Then all that happends and of course it felt really bad,” said Rudholm.
Next weekend the WestCoast Racing driver has his chance for revenge at the second STCC race weekend of the year.
“I just want to get back in the top, I know that I belong there,” said Rudholm.
