Robin Rudholm tops test at Gelleråsen

Robin Rudholm topped the morning test at Gelleråsen in his WestCoast Racing prepared BMW 320si. The test was really tight with 13 drivers within one second. Robert Dahlgren was second fastest, two tenths behind Rudholm. Flash Engineering man Thed Björk was third fastest, four tenths behind the fastest time.

Thomas Schie was fourth fastest in the Chevrolet Lacetti with Mattias Andersson right behind in the Alfa Romeo 156.

Tomas Engström, who often is quick at this track, was sixth fastest ahead of reigning champion Richard Göransson, who is carrying maximum ballast weight for this race.

Jan Nilsson was eight fastest ahead of Roger Eriksson. Johan Kristoffersson was top privateer and rounded off top ten.

Best bio gas powered Volkswagen Scirocco driver was Fredrik Ekblom in 12th position. The STCC organization has confirmed that the Volkswagen team keeps the 50 kilos as they have not met the required points from the STCC organization.
