Rudholm hits out at Göransson after clash

The Swedish Touring Car Championship weekend at Gothenburg was a disastrous weekend for WestCoast Racing. The team only managed to secure two points and Richard Göransson crashed in to Robin Rudholm in race two.
“I do not know what he was doing. He must have out braked him self like hell,” said Rudholm to eurosport.se.

Both drivers started far down on the grid for the first race. Rudholm finished outside the points and Göransson was spun by Robert Dahlgren under yellow flag.

The second race was even worse when Göransson spun and got penalized after an attempt to pass Fredrik Ekblom.

When Göransson fought his way back up through the field, he clashed with team mate Rudholm as he passed him.

“I do not know what he was doing. He must have out braked him self like hell. It is going to be interesting to hear what he has got to say about it” said Rudholm about the incident.

Göransson commented the matter:

“I tried to dive in. He was not in on it. This was one of my worst weekends ever, I just want to forget it,” said Göransson.
