Saab Dealer Team back on track?

It seems that we could see the Saab Dealer Team on the Swedish Touring Car Championship grid this year after all. Recent rumors indicate that the team is planning a test shortly to be followed by competing in a number of races in the closing stages of the season this year.

No reports as of yet have pointed out the designated driver.

Jens Edman has done all the testing with the car and would not be a complete surprise. Other sources have indicated previous STCC racer Pontus Mörth as the driver.

The Saab team was at first planned to do the entire season this year with Edman as driver.

But when Saab, together with General Motors, hit financial trouble, the project was put on hold.

Now though it seems as if things have got going again, stay tuned for further information on the subject!
