Göransson: “Flash should be worried”

Richard Göransson is out after Jan “Flash” Nilsson and his all time victory record of 30 victories of the Swedish Touring Car Championship.
“If I was him, I would be worried about going to Knutstorp,” said Göransson to STCC.se.

Knutstorp is the scene for the seventh and eight round of the STCC 2009, a place where Göransson aims to take two victories to beat the record of “Flash”.

“Flash knows that his record is going to be smoked this year, the question is just when,” said Göransson.

Göransson started the season with a win and championship lead, but since then things have gone the wrong way.

During the last race at Gothenburg, Göransson only managed to get two points and dropped to fifth in the championship.

“I have to go to Knutstorp and deliver. Many say that it is important to drive for the points, but I think it is important to drive to win,” said Göransson.
