Flash: “Göransson is going to be second to 31 wins”

The war of words between Richard Göransson and Jan “Flash” Nilsson, team mates of last year, continues. “Flash” has responded to the claims of Göransson that he is going to beat “Flash” all time Swedish Touring Car Championship record of 30 wins.
“Göransson is going to be second to 30 wins and he is going to be second to 31 wins as well,” said “Flash”.

The STCC is heading to Knutstorp this weekend for the seventh and eight round of the year.

Göransson stated in an earlier press release that “Flash” should be worried about going to Knutstorp.
“The day when Göransson makes me worried has not come, that I can promise,” said “Flash”.

Only four points separates Göransson and “Flash”. Both drivers are also low on weight, “Flash” is carrying zero kilos of ballast and Göransson five kilos.
“I am going to Knutstorp to win. I thought I was going to win at Gothenburg, but I got my weekend destroyed by the judgers. That should not be possible to happen twice,” said “Flash”.

The fact that the STCC has become much harder this season, with a lot of contact in the races, is something “Flash” thinks is going to continue at Knutstorp.
“For sure, Rudholm (Göransson’s team mate) has to watch out so he doesen’t get hit by Göransson like in Gothenburg,” said “Flash” with a smile.
