Robert Dahlgren holds off the BMW

Robert Dahlgren was able to fight off the BMW mafia and won his second race of the year ahead of four BMW’s. Dahlgren made a good start and was at the end able to pull away.
“It was tough! I got a good start and was able to drive as fast as I needed to do,” said Dahlgren.

Robin Rudholm secured second, only three tenths behind after a hard fight with his team mate Richard Göransson.

Göransson made a cracking start and went up in to second place. He collided with Tommy Rustad in the second corner which resulted in a gravel trap visit for the Volvo driver.

Rustad was able to get back out in sixth. Göransson on the other hand got under hard pressure from his team mate Rudholm. The both switched places a couple of times, but at the end of the race Göransson made a mistake which enabled both Rudholm and Björk to get past.

“It felt like I was faster than Göransson and I stayed behind him to see what was going to happen. I went for the win and we came close,” said Rudholm.

Thed Björk was a very happy man in third, driving with full ballast weight of 60 kilos.
“I am so pleased! It was extra nice to be able to get past Göransson in the end,” said Björk.

Jan “Flash” Nilsson gained one position and finished fifth ahead of Rustad. Mattias Andersson, Roger Eriksson, Tomas Engström and Patrik Olsson rounded off top ten.
