Mörth aims for top five at Falkenberg

Pontus Mörth made his Swedish Touring Car Championship return at Knutstorp with the Chevrolet team. A broken drive train stopped him in the first race and he finished ninth and just out side the points in the second race.
“It was a shame with the drive train, but I like Falkenberg a lot and the track is very fast which suits the Chevrolet,” said Mörth to STCC.se.

But for the coming race at Falkenberg, Mörth wants to improve. Last time Mörth took part in a STCC race at Falkenberg he finished second.

“If we get the balance right, I think we can qualify rather high up,” said Mörth.

Mörth is going to get a lot of extra practice time as the STCC is arranging an official test day at Falkenberg on thursday.

“We need to get all the time we can with the car. We need to maximize the test day to get the right setup for the qualifying.

The goal for the weekend is to qualify around fifth-sixth,” said Mörth.
