Rustad masters tricky conditions at Falkenberg

Volvo driver Tommy Rustad was fastest in a weather affected morning test session at Falkenberg. The Norwegian lapped the track in 47.336 seconds, sixth tenths ahead of last race winner Jan “Flash” Nilsson. Third was SEAT privateer Roger Eriksson.

The session started wet with rain but dried up quickly at the end, meaning that some drivers got slicks on at the end.

Fredrik Ekblom continues to show strong form in the Volkswagen Scirocco and was fourth fastest ahead of Mattias Andersson.

Patrik Olsson was sixth ahead of Tomas Engström. Richard Göransson was eight fastest but topped the session when the track was wet.

Robert Dahlgren was ninth ahead of privateer BMW driver Micke Ohlsson.
