Stureson hopes to bounce back

Johan Stureson finished second in one of the races at Gelleråsen earlier this year. This weekend Stureson wants to get back on top after two races with just five points scored.
“The track suits us rather well, so I am aiming for at least top five,” said Stureson.

The second qualifying session which decides the grid for the first race is a key for good results during a weekend.

Stureson has been in Q2 four times out of five this year.

“It is extremely close this year and if you miss Q2, it is not easy to score points,” said Stureson.

Sturesson is currently seventh in the championship with 29 points. Stureson aims to climb to fifth.

“I will hopefully be fifth when this weekend is over,” said Stureson.
