Thed Björk is too quick to win

Flash Engineering team owner Jan “Flash” Nilsson says that his championship leading team mate Thed Björk is too quick to win a race. Björk has despite his championship lead not won a single race of the so far.
“Due to the penalty weight system of STCC, Björk is simply too quick to win races!” said “Flash”.

“He masters the penalty weight in a great way, but the weight is a little bit too much all the time for that little extra thats needed for a win,” said “Flash”.

Björk has an impressive average finish of third from the first ten races of the year.

“I am comfortable with the car no matter what weight it has got. I have found a really good setup with my engineer Toby Philips,” said Björk.

Björk’s car has had an average total weight, with penalty weight included, of 1220 kilos during the season. Tommy Rustad, who is second in the championship, has on average had a car that is 35 kilos lighter.

For this weekend Björk’s car is going to weigh just 1220 kilos, heaviest of them all.

“I have a good feeling for this weekend! The goal is to keep scoring points and to secure the team victory and 10 000 € with “Flash”,” said Björk.
