Dahlgren takes fifth pole of the year

Robert Dahlgren claimed his fifth pole of six possible this year at Gelleråsen today. The Volvo driver has been untouchable so far this weekend at Gelleråsen.
“I am very pleased, the car worked great,” said Dahlgren.

Second fastest was BMW man Jan “Flash” Nilsson, two tenths behind the Volvo of Dahlgren.
“I am actually quite pleased. I knew I could not match the light Volvo in qualifying, but I should be able to put some pressure on him in the race,” said “Flash”.

Third fastest was Richard Göransson, only two thousands of a second behind rival BMW driver “Flash”.

Mattias Andersson was second best front wheel driven car in fourth position, four tenths behind Dahlgren.

Robin Rudholm was fifth ahead of the two championship fighters Tommy Rustad and Thed Björk. Rustad is going to start sixth and Björk seventh.

Last man in to the second qualifying session was Johan Stureson, over a second behind Dahlgren.

Fredrik Ekblom’s team managed to get the car ready for qualifying, but had no time to set a lap time and is going to start last.
