No Saab at Mantorp Park

There will be no Saab in the Swedish Touring Car Championship this year. Test driver Jens Edman confirms the information.
“Unfortunately it will not happen,” said Edman to Kristianstadsbladet.

Despite recent indications that the team could be heading for the final race of the year at Mantorp this weekend, the team cannot get ready in time.

“We broke parts of the car when we tested a couple of weeks ago. The last spare parts arrives on thursday and then there is too little time to get ready,” said Edman.

It remains to be seen when the Saab team makes their STCC debut.
