Chilton leads second practice

Tom Chilton topped the timing screens during the the second BTCC free practice session at Brands Hatch. The Team Aon driver led with a time of 1:33.503, which was 0.137 seconds ahead of second placed Paul O’Neill.

Fabrizio Giovanardi used the first practice to learn the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit, and was understandably off the pace in that session. He found his feet during the second session, finishing in eighth.

Colin Turkington was one place behind Giovanardi in ninth.

Jason Plato continued his impressive pace around the Kent track, as he finished the session fourth.
