Stureson considering car switch

Peugeot driver Johan Stureson is considering a new car make for the next season after Peugeot Sweden pulled their support ahead of the 2009 season.
“It is one of the questions that we are working on right now,” said Stureson to Kristianstadsbladet.

Stureson finished ninth in the championship this year after a season filled with technical problems.

“One thing is for sure and that is that we are not going to run a Peugeot in the STCC if we do not get support from Peugeot,” said Stureson.

Due to the limited budget of the team, there has been few test days for the team this year.

“This year we have more or less not been able to test and develop the car. We are just getting further and further behind,” said Stureson.

The different alternatives for the team next year is, other than switching make, to switch series.

“If we cannot get things together, we might do a break or run another car or in another series,” said Stureson.
