Andrew Jordan tests for Motorbase
Previous Vauxhall driver Andrew Jordan tested for Motorbase Performance at Brands Hatch today.
“It’s been a good day and Andrew and Alex have really impressed me on their first times in the car,” said team boss David Bartrum to Autosport.
Jordan, who is without a drive for 2010 because of Vauxhall’s withdrawal, was joined by Renault Clio Cup-driver Alex MacDowall and previous Motorbase driver Steven Kane during the test.
“Obviously Steven we know all about because he raced for us in 2007, and we felt it would be very useful to put him in the car and hear from him how it has improved since he raced it last – let us know we’re going in the right direction.”
Kane was pleased with the performance of the BMW compared to when he drove it in 2008.
“It’s generally just got a lot more grip, which is down largely to the team gaining more experience with the car and understanding what needs tweaking in order to get more performance out of it,” said Kane.
No drivers have been confirmed yet for Motorbase for the coming season.
