NGTC engine supplier revealed
The company that will supply the Next Generation Touring Car engines has been revealed as Swindon Racing Engines.
“Swindon Racing Engines came out on top of a very competitive tender process,” said British Touring Car Championship series boss Alan Gow to Motorsport News.
The Wiltshire based company was formed by John Dunn and has some 35-years of experience in many leading series, such as Formula 1, Formula 3, British Touring Cars and World Rally, amongst others.
Their proven track record in preparing race winning engines led to their selection.
“It [Swindon Racing Engines] has a long history of producing excellent, reliable engines and providing great competitor support,” said Gow.
Motorsport News also revealed that Raphael Caille, a former Triple Eight Race Engineering engine man, will lead the engine programme at Swindon.
