Four more years in Gothenburg

The Swedish Touring Car Championship organization has secured four more years of racing on the Gothenburg City Race Arena.
“The long term deal means a lot for the sport,” said STCC, MD Bob Huzell.

The STCC made its debut on the track in 2008, an event that was an immediate success with close to 40.000 spectators.

The company Sport & Evenemang has taken over the running of the event and are more than pleased to work with STCC AB.

“We have got a more clear role and an opportunity to work on a long term way to make the city race even more exciting for spectators and competitors,” said Ebrahim Bojang of Sport & Evenemang.

Rumors indicate that the organizers of the race have got some interesting changes for the race already for this year.

Carrera Cup Scandinavia is the only support class in this event.
