Bowe & Morris win Bathurst 12 Hour

Ex-V8 Supercar racers John Bowe & Paul Morris, along with Gary Holt have won an eventful Bathurst 12 Hour endurance race, driving in the Eastern Creek International Karts BMW 335i.

Several V8 Supercars regulars also took part in the event, as well as Hollywood star Eric Bana.

The race finished under safety car conditions, with the race being held under the safety car no less than eight times due to incidents and the weather conditions.

One of the safety car periods was extended after a Gum Tree fell across the track in a very bizarre incident.

The total race distance was 202 laps, as the BMW of Morris/Holt/Bowe was released on the last corner to provide a full speed finish to spectators.
